HIGHLIGHTED STORIES: APHA partners to raise awareness about health and well-being for boys and men of color

14 May

APHA and the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies have partnered to raise awareness about health and well-being issues for boys and men of color. Racial and ethnic minority males are less likely to use preventative health services, have a regular doctor or source of care and are less likely to have health insurance. As they are also more at risk for morbidity across the lifespan and more likely to die at an earlier age than other groups, the partnership strives to encourage research policy and clinical practice that impacts the health of boys and men of color.
